The drivers were tested on certain hardware, but no official support for
Apple has been announced.

Hi, if you get this to work, please let me know. This makes you the 3rd
or 4th person who tried to get a hims product to work that I know of and
no one seems to have gotten it. I wonder if they actually tested the
drivers on any hardware?

Hi all,
I've tried to plug a braillesense on a MacBook executing Mac OS 10.5
Leppard with VoiceOver. I've also installed a file called updater
1.0.dmg which apparently adds support for braille displays including
the Braillesense. But, when I plug the braillesense (in screen reader
mode), the BS seems to freeze and voiceOver doesn't detect anything,
but says that the media i'm trying to insert is unreadable.
Nonetheless, they say on the Apple accessibility page that connecting
a refreshable braille display will make VoiceOver to recognize it
automagically.
What's wrong here? Are there some additionnal drivers to install?
TIA,
Sof
