Hi Erik,I've done all that.
I think I"ll just switch to WE when I want to use a display, but I have noticed that my sttings in window eyes don't stick from session to session.

Hi, did you figure this out?

If not, press insert 6. It doesn't matter where you are when you do this as long as jaws is running and your braille display is connected.

Press control shift D and you should hear something like default.jcf jaws configuration manager. Now my direct knowledge of jaws ends. At this point I'd just take over the client's computer because I know I can find the information. Basicly, somewhere in the set menue I believe there is a braille options dialog which looks just like the one from the jaws main window.
Make your changes in there and press OK.
Now press alt f4 and when it ask if you want to save the changes to default.jcf, say yes.

That should do it right there.

Hi Vicki and all,
Can you help?
I figured out in outlook express that if I turn marking with dots seven and eight off the dots go away. This works great, but I can't find a way to do this in the configuration manager so that it will stick no matter where I am.
Please help.
