Hello Mike, we are not seeing this issue with Braille Sense Plus and low battery. I'm wondering if it may be an issue with your specific battery. Although calibrating the battery of the Braille Sense plus is not needed normally, you might try that. We have a knowledge base article on how to do this if you are not sure of the steps.

Many thanks.

Subject: Low battery problem in BS32+

Hello list,

Perhaps support will want to look into this.

In the BS32+ with the 5.21 software, there is a persistent problem when the battery
charge drops below 15%. In previous versions of the software, there was a message warning
that the battery's charge has dropped below 15 percent. Now, instead of this message, the
system consistently crashes. If I try a either a worm or cold reboot, the system reaches
"File manager" and then crashes. If I plug in the power supply, the system
works normally but usually completely reboots to factory settings.
