Hi Tessa, Lunar Calendar is a calendar system developed in several regions of the world, mainly East Asian countries such as China, Japan and South Korea (where the machine actually came from). The Lunar/Solar calendar feature was intended for Korean users (like myself, although I live in United States) who needs to look up which lunar day falls on which solar day and vice versa.
