I have heard that bookshare books have a few problems on the Braille
Sense Plus.
I believe that Gw Micro and bookshare are working at it, but you might
want to have Raul answer that since I'm not part of Gw Micro.

The Braille Sense Plus does have times when the braille display
stops
scrolling forward on web sites. A chord+4 to get beyond the
stuck point
usually frees it up and you can continue from there.
It locks up very seldom.
Also, I turned off the control information and then began to edit
a
document. I hit chord+z and the prompts just said "yes, no and
cancel."
They did not say "yes button" "no button" cancel button."
I have not tested it in too many other places.
I loaded a BookShare DAISY file. The headings didn't work well
in the one I
loaded, but I suspect that was the book not the device. I will
try loading
a newspaper on it tomorrow and let you know how the headings work
in that.

set it to
"off", it still said "list item" after the option, which made me
think it
would work only on some information, not all. If you turn this
off, for
example, will a yes or no prompt say "yes" or "confirm" only,
instead of
"yes button" or whatever it says?

I am listening to the file manager and wordprocessor demo by

and Jeremy. The interface, such as moving through a file list

menu, seems unnecessarily verbose. For example, in a menu,

you not have the type of interface that an option would open
spoken?
The "goto" menu in the wordprocessor has an item something like:
"search, s, common dialog, space-f". I do not care that the
find
will be a common dialog, I just want it
spoken
and that is it. Similarly, is it necessary to say "list item"
after each file? Of course they are all list items; it is a list
of
files and folders! The main programs menu does not do this,
so
why does it everywhere else? Again, I am not a user, so could
anyone
comment on this? Is it something you do not even notice, or does
anyone think that the interface can get too verbose at times?

I will probably be calling GWM Monday and keeping some poor
customer
service rep on the phone with my "newbie" questions until well

the point at which, were this poor fellow not trapped on the

for
ten minutes!!
