Hello List,

I have not figured out how to indicate that a schedule item is an all
day event, so I'm not sure if it is possible. It is a feature I use all
of the time in Outlook for such tings as holidays, day of annual or sick
leave, birthdays and the like, when the kids have off from school, etc.,
and wish that I could figure out how to do it on the sense. The other
thing that I miss on the Voice Sense is access to tasks when I sync the
device with Outlook. If it is not possible to do an "all day" type of
thing in the scheduler, then being able to use the task feature from
Outlook could achieve the same result.

While I'm on a roll about syncing the Voice Sense with Outlook, I might
as well mention that I wish Outlook Notes could sync with the device.
When I am at work, I use Outlook features for a large portion of my day.
Being able to take tasks and notes with me and be able to sync anything
new that I entered during a meting would be a real plus. Yes I know
that the Sense products are not a computer, and that is not where I am
trying to get it to head. But when you look at off the shelf mainstream
PDA's, these features are there. I can live with out a powerful word
processor as I am very happy with what is offered in the Sense products.
I would like to see a basic spreadsheet program that would interface
with Excel. I would use it for tracking such things as travel expenses,
registration data at a sign in table, money contributions for those many
office social events, work time sheet, blood pressure record keeping,
blood sugar readings, etc.

If I were looking to add a luxury item to the Sense, I'd like to use the
device as a wireless keyboard for controlling my laptop during
PowerPoint presentations. This Would allow me to move around the
training room during my presentation, have my presentation notes at my
fingertips and be able to control the PowerPoint slide presentation. My
professional career would not end if I never had this feature, it is
just a dream. The reality is that I should consider it safer for myself
and others if I stay in one place while I present.

Have a nice day
Annette

Subject: Re: [GWN] Braille Sense Plus schedule manager question again

Is there a way to add an appointment without a specific time to it. Say
if you want to enter someone's birthday, you don't need to turn the
alarm on and the birthday is an all day event, or if you're on holidays
for two weeks and you just want to mark that down so that when you
schedule other things you'll know exactly when your holidays are. I
tried adding a birthday and had to put in a time, it would be nice if
there was an all day option.
