I tried that but it didn't seem to work. What I'm going to do is to copy all the files in that folder I want protected and then copy the folder to an sd card.

Then I can set the write-protect switch on the card and that should take care of it. I don't use sd cards in the braillesense plus all that much, so really won't have a problem leaving the card in the slot pretty much full time.

The fastest way is to connect to a pc and go into properties on that folder and make the folder read only.

I don't think it can be done, but maybe someone can prove me wrong.

I have a folder containing several files and I want to make all files in that folder read only. Short of changing the attribute of each file, is there a quick way to set all files in the folder to read-only?

This is for the braillesense plus.
