I have been a braille user since grade 1, but haven't had access to a
braille display since leaving school, which was some years ago. I've used
qwerty keyboards since then but found when I went from my pc's keyboard to a
notetakers qwerty keyboard I had an awful time adjusting to the much smaller
size and even now don't feel fully free to write using that keyboard. I love
the braille display and the braille keyboard on the bs+ though I did
initially find it rather larger than expected. After spending 2 months with
the bs+ I had to resort to the old perkins brailler to do some work and
found I had an awful time adjusting to the right pressure and just the feel
of the keys, talk about odd LOL. I'm glad I didn't wait to buy the bs with a
qwerty keyboard, I like the freedom the braille one gives me as compared to
other small keyboards I've tried.
Anyway that's just my experience.
