Sure it does. If you open the case so the flap is extended out behind the Braille Sense, look in the center. You will find a pocket which can hold a business card with your name for identification. To either side of this pocket with the smooth clear plastic, you will find some other pockets. One on each side of it. the left side one is for and SD card while the right side one is for a CF card.

Many thanks.

The Braille Sense Plus case has 1 pocket for a CF card and 1 pocket for
an SD card.

Many thanks.

Tessa, I'm surprised to read your comments regarding the case for
the bs
plus. Frankly, I think it's the nicest case I've seen for a
notetaker.
It's far better than that for the braillenote series. I like
the
padding and particularly the way the entire unit and all ports
are fully
protected. The velcro makes it easy to open and to hold the
cover of
the case in place if you like.

I personally like just about everything about that case and was
really
impressed to see it actually shipping with the bs plus.

Speaking of cases. I'm wondering what the general feeling is
about the
case
for the bs?
I don't know if there's a difference in cases between the
braille
sense and
the braille sense+, I have the + and have to say that I really
dislike
the
case that it came with. I don't like the hard sided leather or
leatherette whatever it might be, I much prefer the soft sided
cases. Also
it's
got no
pocket for storing extra cards, sure the bs+ has an 8 gig flash
card
but
that doesn't mean I'm not going to want to haul around all my
cards
anyway
LOL. The main issue though is that I use my bs a lot, and
carrying it
on a
shoulder strap is difficult due to a neck injury which severely
limits
the
amount of anything I can carry on either shoulder. Also while
standing
at
the bus stop and fooling with the bs I'd hate to lean over and
whack
myself
or something else with it. I much prefer a fanny pack type case
and
wonder
if there is such a thing available. At least with the softer
sided
cases one
could attach the necessary webbing and easily convert a shoulder
bag
to a
fanny pack but the structure of the bs case particularly with
the
cover
folded back to allow its use isn't practical for conversion. And
admittedly since that's the only thing I really don't like
about
the
product I can't really complain LOL, though I'm interested to
hear if
others
have a similar complaint and what if anything did you do about
it. I'm
always on the look out for bigger and better fanny packs and
finding
one to
fit the bs is certainly not going to be a challenge, though I
wish GW
or
HIMS would offer a choice in cases.

Hi Ken,
I'd love to see a different kind of combo case but have no idea
what
so I'll
use what I've got.
Had to ad velcro to mine to keep it closed.

I don't think the combo case was such a great invention.

I don't think the 32 cell unit is available any more.

Terri,
The syncbraille comes in 20 cells and 32 cells. I have the 20
cell
with
the voice sense and combo case.

Joseph,

The VoiceSense only supports the SyncBraille, nothing else. The
SyncBraille only has 18 cells.

Hi,

Yes and no. Yes, but this feat can be accomplished on another
product called
Voice Sense. Not with Braille Sense Plus though.

Cheers,

Joseph

Hello all,

I'm taking a Braille Transcriber's Course requiring the use of
40
cells.
Right now I'm using Perky Duck (a Perkins Brailler emulator
program) to
braille the exercises. I know the BSP has only 32 cells. Can
an
external
braille display be connected to the BSP via its USB port or Blue

Tooth? Any
help is appreciated. Thanks!

Nafisah.
