Hi Karli.
I get the "clang" when I go to
www.johnmaclean.com.au
With the site that Simone generously has provided the site is accessible!
Thanks Simone!
With one of my passions, sports betting, i find
www.dialabet.com.au
can't process a bet with the VS running 1,3. Through the Google site information is accessible, however, a bet cannot be processed through that Google site.
Best!
Peter.

Hi,

Thank you very much for providing the link. Hopefully it will
help those of
us who have had trouble with the clanging sound when the web
browser has
trouble loading a page. I encountered this clang sound problem
on 3
consecutive occasions on the google news
site. I pressed enter on a news article and waited for the page
to load,
but the clang sound came through instead. After that I waited
for several
more minutes, and when nothing happened I pressed the reset
button because
no other buttons or keystrokes worked. Since then, I haven't
used the web
browser again because I am afraid my bs will crash. This clang
sound and my
bs having difficulty recognizing my memory stick before makes me
wonder
whether my unit is problematic or are those simply a couple of
software
glitches. Have any of you come across these problems before?

Karli

Hi,
put this address as the homepage of the braillesense:

http://www.google.com/gwt/n?q=Enter%20a%20URL&site=search&hl=en&l
r=&mrestrict=x
you can then enter a url and press the go button. if you want,
check the
checkbox that is after the go button in order to hide images and
so have
more text in the page.
for me, simply great.
