Hi, When I was using the BrailleNote with Sendero GPS in the dead of winter I would do the following: 1. ware the device under my jacket. This would keep the device warm. 2. Ware a small ear bud so I could hear the speech and not worry about the braille display. 3. Set as much to automatically read as possible. For example If i were to walk I like to have multiple repeat of intersections turned on. and perhaps the heading/distance to the next turn if I am following a route.
