Ah, no problem. There is a unit called the sync braille made by the
same people as the voice sense, and so if you want a voice sense and a
braille display as a seperate unit then you can buy the braille sense
and the sync braille. Unfortunately sync braille is the only
supported display on the sense, so you can't go out and buy an alva or
a baum and have it work.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Erik,
I think you didn't understand me. As far I know, the Voice Sense
doesn't
come with Braille display, I think you mean Braille Sense, but not
Voice
Sense.
What I want to know, if I can now purchase Voice Sense, and afterward,
purchase the Braille display which comes with the unit. I wonder if
they are
two different machines, or it happens like PacMate, it can come with
or
without its display Braille.
Thanks.

Hi, that's probably because your question didn't make a lot of sense.
The braille sense already comes with a built in braille display, so
why would you connect a second? Especially considering the cost of
them, smiles. So the braille display that comes with the unit
apparently doesn't do what we need it to, at least not elegantly, but
hopefully this will be improved later on.

Hi all,
So, I have another question. Could I add the Braille display for the
unit
afterward? In this case, could you tell me the name of this display,
if it
has the Spanish tables and the price?
I wrote once to the address contained on GWMicro site for this
purpose, but
no reply was received.
Thanks.

Yes it can. If you are looking for one to buy I have a lightly used
voicesens for sale for $1200 which is 1/2 the new price. Let me know
if
interested.

Hi all,
Can Voice Sense write in 8-dot Braille? I had the Unit in my hands
some
while ago, but I don't remember for sure right now. As far I
remember,
the
Voice Sense does support writing in 8-dot Braille, but I would like
someone
to confirm this info.
Thank you.
