This is most useful. Thank you for sharing both the good and the bad. I've read through parts of the owner's manual, but personal experience will always prevail.
Joe Orozco "A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd."--Max Lucado -----Original Message----- From: Terri Pannett [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, September 14, 2009 2:20 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [GWN] things I like about the BSPQ Hi, List, Last night, I replied to a post and I stated many of the BSPQ's drawbacks, but I would also like to let the record show the many positive things I like about the device. 1. I can use my BookSense usb cord and connect the BrailleSense Plus to my PC and it will show the BSPQ as drive E. 2. My .doc files look great on the BSPQ. I don't see all those $fm markers. 3. I like opening files from the file manager. 4. When I turn on numlock, I can use the j to write 1, k to write 2, l to write 3, u to write 4, i to write 5, o to write 6. This is great when I am using the calculator. 7. I like the ease of moving from one open file to another. 8. I LOVE THE ONE-HANDED MODE when I'm using the QWERTY keyboard. 9. The file manager is a joy to use! It beats my PC hands down! 10. I love being able to change the voice settings with the function keys--much easier to remember. 11. I like being able to scroll with my left hand because when the line is short I can immediately scroll to the next without needing to move my hand to the right button. 12. I like being able to save a file without having to answer unnecessary questions. That's about all for now.
