When you turn numlock on, by pressing function with insert, the keyboard works like this:
j is 1. k is 2. l is 3. semicolon is plus. u is 4. i is 5. o is 6. 7 is 7, 8 is 8, 9, is 9. 0 is multiply by. Hyphen is minus. Slash is divided by. Period is the decimal point. M is 0. You will not be able to type the parenthesis signs when numlock is on. You can't use the percent sign when numlock is on.
When numlock is off, the numbers are the same as those on a regular keyboard.
I'm surprised there isn't a command to clear a calculation. You have to use the backspace key and delete each character one at a time.
