Hi Tessa,
Where do you get this program?
It sounds interesting. I've never heard of it.

Have a blessed day,

Subject: [GWN] Interesting email item

First, let me admit that I try to never throw anything out, well email and document wise that is. This means that I have scads of email. Rather than save each as a txt file I've often used the program dbxtract to download items from my computers inbox and save them as eml files. After a little experimenting it appears that if you do this you can then access those files using the bs plus. I haven't played with this enough, so use at your own discression, and if my bs inbox suddenly goes critical I'll know I goofed big time LOL.
Anyway heres what I've done.
1 use the latest version of dbxtractancexe to extract email from oulook expresses inbox. 2 copied some of those emails into a folder which I called extras just for the heck of it.
3 copied that folder to the bs email folder.
4 opened the email program, at which point my original emails which were already present on the bs were loaded into the inbox. 5 I hit the f 2 key went to the inbox folder and then hit enter on my extras folder. 6 what this appeared to do was replace or upload the contents of that folder and disappear the previously loaded inbox items. Needless to say their was a moment of panic at this end. 7 I was able to move up and down in these messages and open some, unlike the storage box which doesn't seem to let us open messages. 8 I returned to the folders using the f 2 key again and hit enter on the inbox and I have my original messages back, thank goodness LOL. Now, this might not be of any value to some, but if you're a dbxtract user you might find knowing this handy. Also if you think this is going to bite me do let me know. I haven't fooled with it enough to know whether or not I'm creating a whole heap of grief for myself LOL.
Anyway I thought I'd share.
Tessa
