Because of the batteries used in the Braille Sense, you can charge it whenever you wish. Saying that, I seldom let run down lower than perhaps 25 per cent. That way I can do some work without concerning myself with a battery problem. Once the battery falls below 15 per cent, you'll get frequent warnings to recharge it. Once it falls to about 6 per cent, the unit will likely shut down.
