I think you mean an external hard drive. You are probably going to save money by buying from amazon.com, newegg.com, insidecomputer.com, tigerdirect.com, meritline.com, supermediastore.com, and so on, rather than a local store. Of course, you can try hard drives in the store. Probably common brands will work; Toshiba, Western Digital, and others should do fine, but I am not positive there.

Some time ago one of you wrote that you successfully used a USB hard drive with the Braille Sense 32. I chased around the computer shops in my area and nobody heard of such drives.

What are they and where did you find them?
