I think you mean an external hard drive. You are probably going to save
money by buying from amazon.com, newegg.com, insidecomputer.com,
tigerdirect.com, meritline.com, supermediastore.com, and so on, rather than
a local store. Of course, you can try hard drives in the store. Probably
common brands will work; Toshiba, Western Digital, and others should do
fine, but I am not positive there.

and nobody heard of such drives.
