Hello. Braille Sense Plus units sold after a certain date had slightly
different hardware components and a minor software change was needed to
make it work. So the firmware which has the June date is what is there
to take into account for this hardware change. In short, if you are
running the December build, you are fine. If you received a Braille
Sense plus recently and it has the June firmware, you are fine.
If you have the December firmware and you really want to upgrade to the
June one just so you can have a new date in your firmware, go ahead
because it won't hurt anything, but it also won't change anything either.
We are working toward a new build of the firmware and when it is
released, it will have a new version number and be good for all Braille
Sense Plus and Voice Sense notetakers, so all this will be moot.

looking at my bs+ it says sl/W ver. 5.21

h/W ver. 1.0
So, not understanding this sort of stuff in the slightest I don't know
whether or not I should install this download. I'd hate to do something that
might mess me up completely.
