The BrailleNote can convert decimals to fractions and vice versa. You can also add, subtract, multiply and divide with fractions.

There is supposed to be a mathematical way to convert a decimal to a fraction without using a calculator but I've forgotten how. Math wasn't my best subject in school, (grin).

i see. thought that every calculator did that. guess i am just used to old fs notetakers since the pm has that. would be a nice feature to have. plus, regardless of precision, the fraction would be close to what it would be if it was set to 2 places after the decimal point or 3.

Most note-takers or calculators won't give that to you because they have no way of knowing the precision you desire.

one thing i would like to see in the calculator is a fraction mode. that way, when you're addiding subtractiting or deviding a number with a remainder in it instead of getting 1.45 you can get the eqivalent answer but in a fraction instead of a dicimal point.

The word processor needs to be expanded so people can write documents with tabs in them. Also, I'd like to see foreign language and unicode character support. More important still, I'd like to be able to tell the BSP what paragraph boundaries I want to use for my documents. It's annoying to be unable to scroll a .brf document paragraph by paragraph because each hard return is considered to be the end of a paragraph.

I do think that the Braille Note has some things it was lacking before.
I just got a Braille Sense Plus.
I have a Braille Sense Classic and I find it easier and nker than the Braille Note to use. The editing features and ease of writing in braille and then looking at a document in ascii is wonderful.

Hello all!

I see that the competition finally came up to the real world with the
announcement of their new notetaker the Apex! Based on what I have seen, I'm still loyal to GW Micro. I think the Braille Sense Plus and Voice Sense have better support and one can't beat the streaming audio available to them. I think one can turn it on and write something down more quickly as well! The Keysoft is still being used in the competition product! If the Braille Sense Plus can be kept slightly under $6,000, I think GW Micro has
the market!

Thanks to Don Bishop, he gave me a site to listen to XM Radio on my VS. It works great! One must have an online account with XM RADIO. If you have
that, go to:
http://mobile.musicdock.com
Simply log in with your XM INFO AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO. Look for link you wish to listen to, press enter and you will hear your content! The find
command is your best friend.
