Hi Mike and all,
I figured out a way to change things. It came to me in the middle of the night. I wasn't about to get up and try it then but have now. If you type 01 and whatever month with no space in between it will read the way I wanted it to.
Glad I figured that out.

Have a blessed day,

Stacy:

I suspect that the VS is reading the filename as if it were a date in
European style and, indeed, if one had filenames of this form that *were* dates, that's how one would want them read. Of course, this isn't what you want but I don't know of a way to change things.

Just another one of those ambiguities of English speech that synthesizers must contend with.

Mike

Hi again,
I'm resending this with a proper subject line.
Here goes.
Hi all,
I was just looking over a folder on my SD card in my voice sense. It is a folder containing files for a bible reading plan. These files are in RTF. They are named zero one January dot RTF and so on. The voice sense says January first dot RTF instead of zero one january dot RTF. Is there any way to make the voice sense say zero one January dot rtf instead of January 1 dot RTF?
The filename is written zero one dot RTF.
Any help is appreiated.
Thanks,

Have a blessed day.
