Hi Desi,
GWN doesn't offer a payment plan.
At least when I got my voice sense and syncbraille they didn't.
Have a blessed day,

Thanks so much Don, and all others who have taken the time to write
regarding the BSP! It sounds like a really wonderful piece of equipment!
I don't really need extremely advanced word processing, as I'm not in a
position to have to prepare highly formatted documents of any type except
for my own use or that of friends. Now, if I could just win the lottery!
LOL! I don't feel right about selling my BN mPower transplant to help
finance the purchase, because I have one dot on my Braille display that
has always been somewhat faulty. Sometimes it comes up and sometimes it
doesn't, but even when it doesn't, if I press in on it with my finger, it
will pop into place. I've sent it in several times to be looked at, but
they never "could" find the problem. Does GW Micro offer any kind of a
payment plan? I could pay for a BSP steadily over time, but will have a
hard time coming up with the entire amount of purchase all at once. We,
like many others, are on a reasonable, but nonetheless, fixed income.
Does the BSP work well with most Braille embossers? So many questions,
and I know I'll think of more! Again, thanks to all!
Desi

Hi Desi,
Glad to see you made it onto the list. First, the braille sense plus is
the only braille notetaker now as the braille sense was the original and
has now been discontinued.
The quality of the braille on the bs plus is excellent, and I really like
the design and feel of the keyboard.
The word processor is not as powerful as that of the braillenote, but
it's quite adequate in my opinion. To create truly serious documents
with formatting and such, I'd choose the pc over any notataker to tell
you the truth.
Also, the command structure and menu organization on the braillesense
plus is much much more like that of windows because it doesn't use a
special operating system as the braillenote products do. I just find the
commands and navigation much easier to remember, probably because I am
used to that of windows.
I can honestly say that I don't regret switching to the braillesense plus
one little bit.
Most of my experience is with a braille keyboard, but I've also tried the
qwerty keyboard and I find it to be a really nice machine.

Hi,
I just joined this list in order to learn more about the BrailleSense. I
am currently a BrailleNote user, but am seriously considering replacing
my BN with a BrailleSense or BrailleSense Plus. Due to the fact that
I'll be purchasing for myself, it will take me awhile to save up the
money, and I definitely don't take such a decision lightly. I would be
especially interested in the thoughts of those of you who have made such
a switch. Please understand that I am in no way interested in any sort
of company bashing! I truly want to know what you like about your
BrailleSense or BrailleSense Plus! If there are any things you don't
particularly like, I'd like to know about those too, but you are more
than welcome to write to me privately at

Thanks so much in advance for any information you're willing to share
with me!
