Hello Desi, My wife and I made the switch a couple of years ago or so. We have the Voice Sense. We still hope one day to get the external braille display. I became disinchanted with the external Wy Fi cards the M-power used. The voice Sense had internal Wy Fi and bluetooth capabilities. These have served us well. I think too one can hear more audio streams with a sense product than one can hear with a Braille Note product. A friend of ours came by yesterday and I saw a Braille sense Plus for the first time as well as a Book Sense. I really thought the Braille Sense plus was a fine looking unit! I was very impressed with what I saw! I especially liked its braille display. I didn't have much time to read allot with the Braille Sense plus at that time but it truly seemed to be a fine unit, very nicely put together! It had a nice carrying case as well. The operation of the Voice Sense and the Braille Sense Plus is very similar. The Voice Sense looks like a dwarf in comparison! I have helped some braille sense plus users set up their internet since the Voice Sense functioned in a similar fassion! I also like the 8 gigs of flash memory! If I had my way, I would have both the Voice Sense and Braille Sense Plus. I'd have everything I could want in those notetakers. I'm certain others could tell you more about how the note and sense products compare when reading braille. I understand Humanware now has the apex which now has built in Wy Fi for sure! I still think I'd go the Braille Sense Plus.
Is the port in back a printer port or is that a VGA monitor port? I also liked how the visual display was mounted! One can hardly tell there is a visual display there! As I say, the Braile sense Plus is nicely made! I'll briefly say the book Sense is nice too! I like how the buttons are placed and are easily seen despite the small size of the unit. I'd be happy to have one of those as well! Do take care all!
