Raul can correct me, but I believe the BSP can *read* 8 dot computer
braille, but you can't *write* 8 dot computer braille. The BSP supports the
Computer Braille Code, which is a code adopted by BANA for creating
computereze for use with braille paper. To write in this code on the BSP,
you must begin your computereze with dots 4,5,6 3,4,6 or with 4,5,6 3,4,5.
The second symbols are used before uppercase letters.
If you want to learn more about this code, you can go to the BANA web site
or you can buy a book called "Computer Braille Code Made Easy" from National
Braille Press. I think they also have "cheat sheets" for it, too.
I don't have a BT model, but I assume you can write in the computer braille
code in .txt or .doc files. (QWERTY users like me must use the QWERTY
keyboard when writing in .txt or .doc files, I can't change keyboard types.)
Also, when you are writing braille in a brl file, you must use the opening
code every time you write computereze. You cannot change views. The
default view in brl files is always set to grade 2, contracted braille.
