Hi Don and list,

I couldn't say! All PCs pick it up wirelessly and all seems well. The VS units can't even see the wireless router at all! It acts as if it doesn't exist. I even took Rhonda's suggestion and tried creating an account with appropriate info and still nothing! The cable people used something called digido or something like that to set up network and it is still in our PCs. I need to figure out whether I can dump that or whether it is an install thing!

This modem and router which are separate is suppose to be Netgear equipment! Bresnan says Apple computer products don't work on their system either so I'm not certain what is going on here! I'm investegating further!

Jim

Jim,

I don't know what you have so this may not even be relevant. If so, just ignore. I should think the vs should at least see the connection even if it actually can't connect. Are you sure that "broadcast" or whatever it's called on your router is turned on?

Hello all!
Dar and I changed our ISP to cable which is said to be very fast! When I
tried to see my wireless connection, it never appears. The cable man
says some gaming machines don't work on their system. They use WPA2
incription I guess so between the two, the voice sense cannot go on line
unless we change to something slower and less secure or there is an
upgrade to enable the Voice Sense to work with our new ISP.
I'm certain I'm not the first for this to happen! My PC works fine!
Thanks much!
Jim
