It can be, but if you download a PC client like Qwitter
(http://www.qwitter-client.net) or McTwit (URL unknown) then it
becomes a lot easier. Also, http://www.accessibletwitter.com may help.

Hi Alex,
I have a twitter account or had one, but gave up on it because I never could
find my followers or the people I was following. .
I found twitter very difficult.

Twitter (http://www.twitter.com or http://www.accessibletwitter.com)
is what is known as a "micro-blogging service". Basically, people sign
up for it and then send short messages, no more than 140 characters,
to their followers. A follower is simply a person who receives the
tweets sent by the people they follow. Think of it as subscribing to a
magazine: the followers are the subscribers, so only they will get a
copy of each issue of a magazine, no one else. Any subscriber to the
magazine can start their own magazine, and then, though they still
receive magazines, they can start sending out new issues of a
different magazine to their own subscribers.

A tweet is just one of these short messages. If you send a tweet you
are said to "tweet", and are therefore a "twit" (no, I am completely
serious). A retweet is just a tweet that you send with someone else's
Twitter username at the beginning, like forwarding an email.

Basically, the GWM promotion here is that you sign into your Twitter
account and retweet the message Jeremy had in the email quoted below;
that is, you write your own tweet, putting GWMicro at the start, since
GWMicro is GWM's Twitter username. As long as you are following
GWMicro (remember, that means you see any tweets they post), they will
be notified that someone just retweeted them (again, a retweet is just
a tweet with a particular person's username in it). They can then see
exactly who retweeted the message and can compile a list of Twits'
usernames from which to draw a winner.

I hope that the above at least made some sense!
