I checked on the GW Micro site, but I couldn't readily find
specific specifications for the Voice Sense QWERTY, other than
the approximate weight. Is there other info available at this
time--meaning its dimensions and processor speed and memory and
operating system and the like? Perhaps I missed these on the
site? But, glad to see the Word support.

We are here at CSUN, and it is extremely busy. First, to those
of you who
had positive questions regarding the new products, yes, the new
Voice Sense
QWERTY does support Word 2007 documents.
For the others with less positive comments, rest assured that we
have not
forgotten you. There is more I would like to say in this regard,
but
unfortunately, I cannot divulge details. I also might add that
others have
mentioned competing products. Please note that many competing
products will
make you pay for your upgrades. When there is a software upgrade
for the
other notetakers, it will not cost anything. That is a benefit
you will not
get anywhere else.
Should there be an upgrade for the current notetakers?
Definitely. Will it
happen soon? It will happen sooner rather than later. Can I
give you a
date today? No, but I can tell you that it is in the works.
We are trying to satisfy many different customers, and these
products are
something that we have been asked for over a long period of time.
Just
because we introduce new and innovative products does not mean
that we are
not supporting older products. It also does not mean that we
have forgotten
you, and it does not mean that we are not working on updates at
the same
time. It simply means we want to fulfill the needs of our many
fantastic
customers, and creating new and innovative products is just one
way we do
that.
