Hello. Not sure why your year would have changed, but you can input the date as 2 digits for month, 2 for date, and 4 for the year. Separate each one with the space bar. For example today would be:

04 08 2010

The same is true for the time, 2 digits for hour a space, and 2 digits for the minute. You can press space-x to switch between am and pm.
