I thought that too, If I want to mark something on a sort of permanent basis
I put xxx beside it, not very tidy I know but it works for what I need to
do.

Don't place markers disappear after you close out of a file? Or is there a
way to place permanent markers in a file?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi,

I wish there was a way to add more than 26 place markers in a document.
Let's say the document has 40 chapters and you want to place a mark at the
beginning of each chapter.
