Subject: [GWN] Teaser3 for the new Sense notetaker firmware
Hello all. We are working hard to bring you the next firmware for the
Voice Sense, Braille Sense Plus, and Braille Sense (Original)
notetakers. Although we are not yet saying when the firmware will be
released, I can say that it's getting very close. In the mean time, I'd
like to offer the following teaser.
Teaser 3: CSV support in the Address manager. The Address manager has
only been compatible with Outlook contacts. Now in the new firmware
however, you will be able to import a CSV formatted address book. So for
example if you use Outlook Express or Thunderbird, you can export your
contacts into a CSV file and import that file into the Address manager
of the Sense notetaker. This adds many possibilities because the CSV
format is basic and universal for all formats. When importing the
address book contacts from a CSV, you can choose in what order the
fields are organized in. This way the proper fields are properly
populated with the proper data.
