Well, grin, that's what I've been doing, and then I've always
been able to get my wireless settings to work after the restore.
But, I'm guessing that you, as I just did, checked in the backup
restore options settings and only saw Bluetooth there, and not
wireless LAN? Right? So, guess I'm not sure how these wireless
settings get backed up, and I'm guessing they're not saved if the
battery goes flat, so I've just always done the restore and it
has worked to bring them back.

Hi Vicki,
When I back up settings, I select all settings so this would back
up the
wifi I would think.

And, it is one of the settings that can be backed up and
restored, too.
So, should you let your VS battery run down as I often do, and
you're
still using the same router, you can just do a restore from a
backup
you've made on your VS and have those wireless settings back and
working
again. Now, once I've done the restore, I do have to go into
utility,
then setup internet and then wireless LAN and wait to let it
find my
network. In fact, I usually have to do these steps twice, but
then it
does almost always see my network and connect on that second
attempt.

Hi Don,
I hadn't had to set it up in so long, I forgot how easy it was.

Hi Stacey,
Yes, it really is amazing just how easy it is to connect the
sense
notetakers to wifi.
I use it a lot here too.

Hi all,
I just love my vs. We got a new dsl gateway yesterday and had
to set it
up. We got it working with Stan's PC (which is the main one)
and I
prepared to set up my laptop and voice sense.
It took me about 30 seconds to get my vs connected. It worked
flawlessly. the laptop on the other hand took nearly two hours
to get
working.
Thanks GW Micro for a great product.
If I could afford a braille sense plus I'd buy one.
Have a blessed day,
