Hi Stacey,

I've tried this on my VS and haven't had a problem closing just one of the programs. For example, if I'm in the list of email messages in my inbox, I can then for example hit F 2 and F 3 to cycle forward to the next open program. Then, when I get in that program, say an open document, I can then press space with Z to close that document and the word processor, and this will even close the word processor even if there are other documents open in the word processor at the time. Then, if you continue to do the F 2 and F 3 to cycle to the open programs, you will see that the word processor no longer is in the list. And, similarly, if you do the F 2 and F 3 to get to the list of files in the file manager and press space with Z, that will take the file manager out of the list of open programs. Oh, but I just reread your email and saw you were talking about doing this with F 1 and F 4. And, yes, it can be done this way as well, but you actually have to arrow to the task you want to close in the program list first. Then, you would hit enter to go into the program, and then you would do the space Z as described before to close that program.

 Hi,

At this point, you need to switch to that process and "kill it
yourself" - exit that process (SPACE-Z/Alt+F4) unless if I've forgot something else. If the Task List has End process or similar functionality, you might want to use it; otherwise, just switch to that process and exit out of it.

 Cheers,

 Joseph

 Hi all,

If I have several things open on the vs at once, for example,
file manager word processor and email how do I close just one of them?

If I look at my tasks with f1 and f4 I can't seem to close just
one Please help. What am I doing wrong?

 Have a blessed day,
