There is. When you get to the file you want to potect, hit Space with m, and then, I. This opens a dialog box witht File type, Size, Date and Attribute. Tab through to Attribute. You will see two choices: Read and Write. Hit the Spacebar to toggle between the two. You waant the Read option; that protectss the file. Then, tab to Confirm and hit Enter. That's it.
