I figured that out.
the interesting thing is that even though my syncbraille and vs show
evrything in grade two there's only one dot 4 before the plus signs in this
documentation.

I put a dot four before the first plus sign just as it showed on my
syncbraille.
I tried Don's suggestion of using computer braille symbols and that
worked great.

Are you preceding each plus sign by dot 4 or using your BS Plus in ASCII
mode to do the search?
