First, I mentioned before about getting emails downloaded a second time, after having the box checked to delete them from the server. But, in thinking about things further, especially since I haven't had the problem since I've gotten back from Kentucky a few weeks ago, I've decided that the problem was caused by my using my cell phone as a modem to get the messages, and that the sometimes flaky cell phone connection out in the rural area where I was caused the problem.
Second, I mentioned about the email program crashing a lot more since I upgraded my VS to version 5.5. And, while that was true for the first couple of days, I haven't had that problem recently, either. So, who knows, maybe I just had too many email downloaded into the VS at one time, or maybe there was something in one of the messages that the VS just didn't like.
