Here in the United States, many of our public libraries subscribe to a service called Overdrive. This service allows library patrons to download e-books in a variety of formats. Not all books are available in all formats. I've read a number of e-audio books in both MP3 and iPod formats. I do not know if you can gain access to this service living outside the U.S., but it is worth doing some research on your part.

Yes, I know of Project Gutenberg and I do know I can join bookshare, but access to books is restricted for non-US citizens. Please please could any of you share other sources of e-books with me. Since acquiring a booksense and thinking of acquiring a voice sense my preferred reading is e-books and I would very much like to access more if I can.
