Greetings, everyone! I was on the NLS website, trying to download a web Braille book. The first few times I tried it, the document came down as a Txt file, rather than a BRF file. After numerous tries, I was able to download the book, which was in two volumes. (Thank goodness it wasn't GONE with the WIND!) Now, this could be the Nls website, up to its usual hijinx and hilarity, or it could be a bug. I say that because, when I downloaded a public domain book from Bookshare, in BRF format, it came out in un-contracted Braille. I had to make it into a TXT file, and then, convert it back to BRF, for it to come out as a contractime Braille document. So, is this a bug, or just an aberration? Also, there's the trouble with files over 11MB. Now the thing which makes this problem such a bear is that it's not consistent! Now, you can't download WMA files over 11MB, but, with MP3 and OGG files, some"times you can, and sometimes you can't. I sure hope they fix this problem soon, because I'm missing my R&B shows!
