Yes, I can indeed do that, but I just wanted to utilise the CF slot by
converting it to SD if possible.  It is no hardship otherwise, but just a
thought.

Hi,
Why not copy the maps you need to your flash disk in a folder called maps?
Then you can tell Sense Nav to look in that folder for the map files.
