Hi,  This site gives you your WAN IP, which is different from your Lan IP.

Wan IP is the one assigned to you by your internet service.  If you have a 
router and share your internet connection with two or more devices such as a 
computer and a braille sense, then they will both use the same Wan IP, but each 
will also have it's own Lan IP assigned by the router so that they can share 
the connection.

What is my IP site only grabs your Wan IP, so that you could give it to some 
third party who wants to connect to your computer or some scenario like that.
