I thought the following might be of interest to people on this list, in case
you might happen to know anyone looking for a notetaker and display.
I am selling two GWMicro hardware products in perfect working condition: a
Voice Sense (purchased new in October 2007) and a Sync Braille 20 (purchased
used in May 2009). I am asking $1,100 per unit, or, if you purchase both
together, I will give you a package deal of $2,000 total, which is half of
what these products currently cost new. Will consider other reasonable
offers too. Both units are in perfect working condition; I am a busy
professional who uses them daily and has taken excellent care of them. I am
selling them because I am planning to upgrade to a BrailleSense. Read on
for more information about these units, as well as a list of the accessories
and extras I am including in the price.
The following accessories are included with the Voice Sense:
- AC adapter
- standard carrying case and strap
- Long USB cable for connecting to a computer
- USB adapter for connecting to another USB device such as a thumb drive
To sweeten the deal, I am including the following extras with the Voice
Sense:
- Executive Products Voice Sense leather carrying case
- 4GB CompactFlash card
- 8GB Secure Digital High Capacity card
Please note: no SenseNav key or GPS receiver is included.
The following accessories are included with the Sync Braille 20:
- Standard carrying case
- Long USB cable for connecting Sync Braille to a computer
- Short USB cable for connecting Sync Braille and Voice Sense
I am also including the following extras with the Sync Braille:
- Voice Sense Sync Braille combo carrying case and strap
- One extra USB cable for connecting Sync Braille and Voice Sense
Please note: IN the interests of full disclosure, the right-hand pair of
scroll buttons on the Sync Braille is slightly looser now than when the unit
was new. This does not at all affect the operation of the display or the
scroll keys--you may simply notice that the right-hand pair of scroll
buttons has a slightly different feel than the left-hand pair.
