Vicky,
What does the braille senseon hand look like?
How big are the keys, etc.

Subject: [GWN] Anyone got the Braille Sense OnHand yetth
As the subject line says, I'm just curious if anyone here is using the
Braille Sense OnHand yet? For, since the announcement that it was now
shipping, there just hasn't been much talk on here about it.
As for me, I did indeed get the OnHand, but I haven't done much with it
yet. I checked the package contents, but am going to wait until this
three day holiday weekend to figure out everything I have in the package,
and then how to insert the battery and get the unit in its carrying case
and all.
In the meantime, even though I did do the trade in from the mPower to the
Apex, I've still been taking my Voice Sense to work with me every day, and
I'll continue doing that for the rest of this week. For, the Apex just
seems so big when compared to the smaller VS.
I got the best of both worlds when purchasing my OnHand. I made the
purchase with my preferred method of online from Sendero, as they have a
real nice package deal if one purchases a Sense note taker and Sense NAV
at the same time. And, opting to keep my two Sense NAV licenses separate,
just in case I ever want to sell one of my machines, I took advantage of
their discounted price, saving about four hundred dollars on the deal.
Besides, I kind of wanted the larger S D card and newer receiver. Then,
and I'm guessing because I live in Indiana where GW Micro is located, GW
very nicely shipped the package to me, shipping this past Monday, and I
got it the very next day. And, unlike a couple of other companies I've
dealt with recently, GW automatically sent me the FedEx tracking number,
so I could see when the package had been delivered. One just can't beat
that for sales and service all the way around.
