About the battery draining when the BrailleSense is powered off, I've had the same problem intermittently. I mentioned the battery problem when I sent the machine in for repair, but I don't think it was detected. Right now it's working okay, but I've had the issue two or three times and it always lasts for a few days before clearing up.--Ninette

Subject: [GWN] Battery Duration

Hello,

Before my question, thanks to Don for helping me figure out the Newsline
issue. I'd never had to select a folder before opening it in the File
Manager, but this worked in the Daisy Player.

Next, what's with the battery draining even in power off? Yesterday
afternoon my battery was at 71%. Today at noon it was at 52%, with no usage between yesterday and today. It seems weird that the juice would leak that
quickly when it's doing nothing but tracking time on the clock.
