I assume that Jamal's AWOL status has to do with last weeks shows. Once he's back in the swing of things, he'll get Install Packages update; I'm sure of it.

What if you turn scripting off, install the tookit, and turn scripting back on?

I installed both 4.8 and now 4.9 of gwtoolkit and I had no problems at all. I was prompted to confirm shutting all scripts first and it went through the whole process smoothly and left all my scripts back on.
