GW TOOL KIT 6.6 and EQULANCE

when installing the 6.6 gw tool kit and running equelance i get an error but if 
i  download it and then switch to dec talk access 32 window eyes there is no 
error so just to ask what could cause the gw tool kit to give an error for the 
tool kit and also when shuting off we with  EQULENCE it gives the error message 
but if tabing over to close it will work but when again shutting off we and 
bring ing it up it will regive the error.
