I hate to say this but I can reproduce this problem.  I am going to remove
the script and reload it.  
Did you perhaps forget to delete the ini file that the package install tells
you to delete.  In my case that is what I did and I think that is what might
be causing my problem.

Does the script show as running in the Script Manager? What if you
define the hotkey to something other than Control-Alt-V?
