This integrates functionality from the Activate Window, Focus Control, and Harvest Window scripts in a dynamic manner.
Jamal Virtual Explorer 1.0 Press Insert-Space for a dialog that lets you explore window attributes and relationships. The Windows listbox shows summary information for each child of a parent, typically summarized by the window type and text. The dialog title says VX (short for Virtual Explorer), followed by a similar summary of the parent. Initially, it shows the parent of the focused window, with the listbox showing its children, and the previously focused window as the current item. The Attributes edit box provides detailed information about the current item in the listbox. Several buttons perform actions as follows. The default, Go To button ends the dialog and gives activation or focus to the current item. The Parent button moves up a level in the window hierarchy and refreshes the listbox and edit box. The Children button moves down. The Left, Double, or Right Click buttons end the dialog and perform the indicated mouse click. The Help button invokes the standard help dialog of the script. The Close button (or Escape) ends the dialog without further action. If the Jump to Item script is running, you can quickly jump to a listbox item based on text it contains (Control-J by default). If the Select Text script is running, you can copy all window attribute information to the clipboard with a single hotkey (Control-F8 by default). This global script requires GW Toolkit.
