Sam,
It is a real script. It really demonstrates how to really do something,
and it really does exactly what it really claims to do. Really.
"The Custom Add/Remove script lists all installed applications, much
like the default Add/Remove programs control panel."
And that's it. If someone wants more from it, then more will have to go
into developing the script further. If that development is going to be
up to me, I don't know when I'll have the opportunity to work on it.
Other scripts and projects have priority over this one.
Thanks for your feedback.

Was this mentioned any where before people started using it?
What other scripts are not for real?
Thanks

Subject: Re: Add remove script problem
The Add/Remove script was really just a proof of concept, so there may
be issues. All it does is read in the uninstall keys in the registry,
and then populates a list box with the results. There are no uninstall
checks or anything like that to verify that an application can be
uninstalled. It just calls the string in the uninstall key to begin
the installation. As this is a GW Micro script, it is free to modify
and re-distribute, so if someone wants to beef it up, they're welcome
to it.

Hello to the list,
I have the add remove script installed and when I activate the script
with alt control a the list box comes up fine. The problem comes in
when I try to remove a program. I get error messages that the
program cannot be removed or that windows can't find the file. Is
this supposed to work when you use this script? When I go to add
remove programs in control panel it works just fine. If this is an
issue with the script I hope it can be resolved as it is an easy way
to remove programs.
