Hi Aaron:
It seems Microsoft, and others, are going more and more toward Pictures,
graphics and dynamics. I read that the new Visual Studio was written using
wpf which one fellow I know found pretty much inaccessible when he tried to
use it some time ago.
I am trying to use WebParts and have to drop controls onto the correct
position in the Designer. They use to have things work both by dropping them
in the Designer and into the Markup but I think they are getting away from
that and heading toward using the designer. If I was to drop a Server
Control on the designer VWD is suppose to wrap it in a Webpart
automatically. If I drop it into the markup I get an error because it is not
wrapped. I wrapped one manually but have no way of knowing if all the nuts
and bolts automatically done by VWD when the control is dropped into the
designer have been taken care of. Also, testing the control in a browser is
not so easy and I've not been able to minimize nor move a control in the
browser yet. I have given up on WebParts until I can get sighted help, too
many unknowns and I can't see to analyze the on screen experience. I started
building a DataBase in VWD, (Visual Studio) and am back to the Grid View
where I am suppose to enter values for each column in the tables. They are
cells and the headings don't read or only once. The cells do not seem to
have solid boundries and without the headings I get lost trying to enter
lists of numbers in more than a handful of fields so need sighted help with
this too. So, anything using the designer, which is quite a few important
functions is not working, allot of the gridviews and other designers like
the table and database designers are just as accessible as the designer you
looked at and you have told me over the years it was accessible.
Not!

I don't have anything in place right now that makes the web designer form
speak anything. It has little to no keyboard support like the VB form
designer, so I'm not sure how to make it work. I'm still investigating.

Hi Aaron I am looking at the script. I am running VWD 2008 and have
associated the script with VWD.
Two quick questions: first; what do I change in the script to use VWD? I
am reading the changes you recommended to use the script with VB Express
and want to know the changes to use it with VWD 2008. Second; if I want
to have Windoweyes read the Control id or control type of all controls in
the Designer how would I go about that?
I am most concerned with how to figure out what is on the screen at any
given moment because of how dynamic the IDE is. If I can get that
technique under control I can start learning how to script what I find to
be accessible with Windoweyes.
For example, I would like to be able to not only read the controls in the
Designer but be able to hit enter on them or right mouse click them.
I read your manual, am reading your script and trying to learn how to
script this VWD puppy as a precursor to continuing scripting Visual
Studio and other related products like Sql Server or Sql Server Express.
