Aaron, had another incident today where the GWToolKit error reporting, itself, began to cause errors. this is version 7.9, and I'm running on my work xp/pro system. the very first sign of this is that the control key fails to silence the speech, and it drones on for quite a while. in fact, all keys seem unresponsive for many minutes. when I finally get a key to work, it at the same time, causes another error reporting sound, and the cycle starts again until I reboot. there is no gw error to send. I'm asking here to see if any other script developers are also seeing this behavior? thanks. Chip
