FYI Winamp 5.56 Script 2.63 I wrote the issue was resolved, as I'm sure you read. I just wanted to verify with you that I do in fact have the latest version of wimamp and the script. You have done a superb job with the winamp script. For years, I couldn't leave WMP behind because I had so much trouble doing with winamp what I do with WMP. But with your scripts, WMP is almost a thing of the past. As soon as I find an extra twenty bucks and get Winamp Pro, I'll be able to actually uninstall WMP. Anyway, thanks' for all you do. Bowen, Jr. To: GW Scripting Sent: Thursday, December 17, 2009 11:08 AM Subject: Winamp issues I don't know if this is script releated or not. After installing the most recent winamp script, and I am running the latest winamp software I started hearing an announcement the stating Winamp Ready. Cool enough. However, when I launch winamp now, right after winamp ready, I get the windows default beep, WE announce an OK Button and there seems to be a dialog box on the screen but I can't say for sure. Winamp won't do anything if I try a few commands except to eventually crash and ask me f I want to send an error report. I did the first couple times, hoping I might get a clue back. But, no. This issue kind of reminds me of a long gone issue where I had the auto check for updates turned on in preferences. I turned that off a long time ago. I wanted to check and see if I somehow turned it back inadvertently, like I discovered how to inadvertently turn on Always On Top by doing a Control plus A when NOT in the playlist window, grin. Hoping you can help, and wishing all a Merry Christmas, I remain Sincerely, Donald E. Bowen, Jr. Music for Sight SKYPE ID: musicforsight
