Yes, I know, I'm thinking that it wasn't included in the shared object
library for no reason though; I suspect it makes it easier on you if you use
the routine from homer or GWToolkit.

Actually, that object is native to Window-Eyes scripting.  Look at the
Script. CommonFileDialog method.

In a VBScript, is there an easy way, to display an 'Open File' dialog. What
I want, is to present the user the chance of choosing the file to open. I
want to put him in a standard Windows dialog, like the one you know from
Word, or Notepad, or whatever; which leaves you the chance also to browse
your folder etc. Is there an instruction to be used, or an object to be put
to work?
